Solar Compounds EA Series epoxy adhesives offer superior bonding which brings improved performance durability to filters, separators and to sporting equipment such as skis, snowboards, and golf clubsto striking tools such as hammers and axes, to grinding wheels, composite panels, laminated shims, bolt anchors, appliances, and precision tables.

Advanced technology EA Series epoxy structural adhesives provide high peel and shear strengths, some even after prolonged exposure at temperatures up to 60C (140F), remain flexible at low temperatures and offer better adhesion to dissimilar surfaces compared to currently available materials.

Excellent Adhesion

Solarite epoxy adhesives offer excellent adhesion to a variety of materials such as; wood, metals including Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Copper, and Brass, and plastics including ABS, polycarbonate and fiberglass. With high impact and vibration resistance, EA-0504 in particular has applications in automotive, aerospace, electrical and OEM applications.

A room temperature curing, semi-rigid high 30 pli peel strength epoxy adhesive compound. Convenient mixing ratio. Suited to automatic dispensing. Excellent shock and vibration resistance and impact strength. For bonding similar and dissimilar substrates such as wood ,metal ,ceramics and thermoplastics.

EA-0467

A room temperature curing epoxy compound. Convenient mixing ratio. Suited to automatic dispensing. Designed for bonding and sealing filter media to metal end caps subject to extreme thermal shock. Excellent resistance to ester lubricants, oils and refrigerants up to 125C. Hardness 85D, 100:18 pbw.

EA-0505

A fast curing room temperature epoxy adhesive. No shrinkage. For end cap installation of specialty filters allowing fast assembly operations without oven cures. Convenient mixing ratio. Suited to automatic dispensing. Hardness 83D, 100:30 pbw. Excellent resistance to Skydrol, lube oil, aqueous ammonia and ester hydraulic lubricants at temperatures over 100C

EA-0576

Very fast, room temperature curing adhesive. Convenient mixing ratio. Suited to automatic dispensing equipment. A 25 gram mass cures in under 30 minutes. Very flexible for use in the manufacture of filter end caps. Excellent adhesion to metals, composites, fabrics and plastics. Hardness 85D, 100:18 pbw.

EA-0457

A Flexible epoxy adhesive compound. Excellent strength under static and dynamic loading. For bonding fiberglass laminations to wood and polyolefin plastics associated with ski and snowboard construction. A heat cure is recommended for optimal properties. Hardness 84D, 100:49pbw

A fast curing, semi-flexible epoxy adhesive compound, Excellent strength under static and dynamic loading. EP-0589

Inexpensive, general purpose room temperature adhesive and casting compound, Convenient mixing ratio. Suited to automatic dispensing. Designed for end seal training grenades for the military that fragment completely when exploded. Hardness 75D, 100:75 pbw

EA-0593

A semi-rigid, one-component heat cure epoxy adhesive and casting compound, For adhesion to nylon, polypropylene, etc. Used in the manufacture of industrial and electrical equipment.

Speciality Adhesives & Asphalts

KM-4512

A heat-applied asphalt lamination coating and adhesive. Designed to give good adhesion. Tack and block resistance in a uniform coating.

KM-4125

Lamination adhesive for bonding several substrates including polyester, propylene and foil construction.

KM-4368 FR

A fire-retardant, pressure-sensitive adhesive. Developed for bonding treated Teflon films to foil or polyester and glass fiber screen. Passes the Boeing Aircraft Corporation Flammability Vertical Burn Test BSS7230 (12 second ignition) over 2 mil polyester.

KM 130

A rubber-based asphalt modifier designed specifically for easy incorporation into basic and oxidized asphalts under slow speed mixing conditions. Imparts flexibility and improved tack to the finished product. Avoids need for high shear rubber mixers in large scale asphalt operations. Significantly improves batch cycle times and product
